BECOME A VENDOR

Thanks so much for your interest in becoming a Vendor on Sonic Sound Effects. We're an independent sound effects marketplace, hosting libraries by creators from all over the world. Our aim is to provide both our loyal customers and talented sound designers & field recordists with the best possible user experience to connect and sell sounds through. With a rapidly growing list of over 200+ libraries, here's some key features of becoming a Vendor through on our site.


COMMISSIONS

  • Vendors on the site receive 70% of the sale of their library minus taxes and transaction fees (PayPal / Bank transfer fees etc). Much higher than other sound effects online stores.
  • Commissions are transferred from the moment a sale is processed so you get your money sooner.
  • You'll be able to see payout reports and track sales through your Vendor Portal

PRICING

  • Pricing is completely up to the vendor. We are happy to advise what a fair price would be if you're unsure what your library should cost.
  • We will have periodic sale events (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas etc). We won’t reduce your sound library by my more than 40% in any given sale.
  • Your libraries may be featured in special deals and promotions to generate extra revenue.
  • You can place your products on sale at any given time by upto 80% of the original price.

PURCHASES & DOWNLOADS

  • Users that purchase your library will receive a unique download link from our site and have a download limit of 3 before the link expires to prevent link sharing.
  • You’ll receive your commission to your nominated PayPal account on a monthly basis to reduce the transfer fees incurred. 
  • Multi-user licenses are available for studios and organisations that require extra copies.
  • All libraries purchased are sold on a Royalty Free basis.

MARKETING

  • We run extensive online advertising campaigns Google and social media to drive traffic to individual libraries and the site.
  • We encourage customers to leave a reviews several days after their purchase to help future sales. 

VENDOR PORTAL

  • A unique dashboard to upload new libraries, update current ones or reduce the price for upcoming sales.
  • You’ll be able to see all account reporting including payout figures and commissions etc.
  • We host your libraries on our servers ready for sale. We ask that you send us a file sharing link for Dropbox, Hightail, WeTransfer etc in the product page for us to download.
  • We'll create custom product images from the supplied a cover art image (minimum 500x500 pixels) & demo reel of some sounds contained in the library (under 2mins).
