What's in this sound pack?

We follow up vol 1-5 with the 6th instalment of the Sinister Series. This time we've recorded a violin, recording some source recordings of horror esk sounds to which we then re designed.

With Sinister Textures 6 you get 171 source recordings from:

• Bow Chops
• Fast Bow
• Legato Bow
• Percussive Hits
• Scrapes, Scrape Bows, Scrape Scratches
• Squeaks and Squeak Scratches
• Staccato Bow

Most of the source recordings come with 2 takes:

• A: Rode NT1 (Mono close mic for detail)
• B: Clippy EM272 (Stereo room mic for width)

Which can both be combined together for full benefit. We then created 131 stereo designed sounds from these source recordings, creating designed layers and textures such as:

• Basses, Booms Impacts, Stingers and Braams
• Risers
• Distorted, Ethereal and Rhythmic Effects
• Drones, Tonal and Rumble Loops
• Vocals
