Thanks so much for your interest in Sonic Sound Effects. We're an independent site hosting libraries by creators from all over the world. Our aim is to have 150+ libraries on our site ahead of our launch. Here's some more information about what we offer to our Vendors and why we believe our site will be worth hosting your libraries on.
Commissions
- Vendors on the site receive 70% of the sale of their library minus taxes and transaction fees (PayPal / Bank transfer fees etc). Much higher than other sound effects online stores.
- Commissions will be transferred into your nominated PayPal account on a monthly basis to reduce fees so vendors receive more profit.
- You'll be able to see payout reports and track sales through your Vendor Portal
Vendor Portal
- This is where you'll be able to control everything to do with your libraries. Upload new ones, edit current ones or reduce the price for upcoming sales.
- You can upload new libraries through your login page on the site.
- We ask that you send us either a Hightail, WeTransfer etc for us to download your library and host on our servers ready for sale.
- We ask you to supply a cover art image (minimum 500x500 pixels) & demo reel of some sounds contained in the library (under 2mins).
- You’ll be able to see all account reporting including payout figures and commissions etc.
Pricing
- Pricing is completely up to the vendor. We are happy to advise what a fair price you would be if you need help.
- Vendors can notify us via email of a price change and we’ll update the listing accordingly.
- We will have periodic Site Wide Sales for special events (Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Christmas etc). We won’t reduce your sound library by my more than 40% in any given sale.
- You can place your products on sale at any given time and reduced them but upto 80%.
Purchases & Downloads
- Users that purchase your library will receive a unique download link from our site and have a download limit of 3 before the link expires to prevent link sharing.
- You’ll receive your commission to your nominated PayPal account on a monthly basis to reduce the transfer fees incurred.
Marketing
- We have an extensive online advertising campaign planned through Google and social media to drive traffic to libraries and the site.
- We encourage customers to leave a review several days after the sale of a sound library.
